I live in Melbourne with my family. I have been researching history since childhood. It may have started at the NGV in our beautiful city or in one of the old mansions in the prominent surrounding suburbs, but I have always loved the grace and grandeur of old Melbourne town. I have been fortunate to travel some parts of the world and visit prominent historical places. I am an author and a mother and the lessons of life's highs and lows haven't surpassed me. Learning more from the lows is what drives my writing and this is the page to share the need to write rather than the want.

Writing the marathon seems like the bulk of the work and then you arrive at The End, but you are only at the halfway point. Infinity

It moves slow and fast. It is squandered and appreciated, depending on the scenario. We wonder where it has gone as we grow older and it reminds us of how quickly it has passed as the next generation grows before our eyes. It cannot be held back, nor can it be stopped, although it has … Continue reading Infinity →

Restrain

(meaning): to deprive someone the freedom of movement or personal liberty/ to prevent (something or someone) from doing something; keep under control or within limits. When the words 'Den of horrors' is in your midst you may be inclined to jump to the conclusion that it describes a circus sideshow from way back when. In … Continue reading Restrain →

Judgement

judgement: the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions / a misfortune or calamity viewed as a divine punishment. We cast it like a net across social media platforms. We hold onto it in the tiny recesses of our minds. It is a consideration of who we are, where we have been … Continue reading Judgement →
